What does a Ragdoll look like?
Ragdolls are large, long cats with a semi-long, silky coat and blue eyes. They are always pointed, in three patterns: colorpoint (dark face, ears, legs and tail), mitted (white paws and chin) and bicolor (a white inverted V on the face and white legs). They take three to four years to mature fully.
Ragdoll personality
Ragdolls are relaxed, affectionate and famous for going floppy in your arms, which is where the name comes from. They often greet people at the door.
How to care for a Ragdoll
Brush twice a week. The coat has little undercoat and mats less than you might expect.
How do I know if my cat is a Ragdoll?
A big, pointed cat with blue eyes and a normal muzzle is often a Ragdoll. A Birman has four white gloves on a slightly smaller body. A Himalayan has a flat face.
