What does a Neva Masquerade look like?
The Neva Masquerade has the Siberian's powerful, rounded body and thick, water-resistant triple coat, with darker points on the face, ears, legs and tail and blue eyes. Many have tabby (lynx) points. The name comes from the Neva River in Saint Petersburg and the masked face.
Neva Masquerade personality
Like other Siberians, they are friendly, playful and confident, and they enjoy family life.
How to care for a Neva Masquerade
Comb two or three times a week, and daily during the spring molt.
How do I know if my cat is a Neva Masquerade?
A big, fluffy cat with points and blue eyes is either a Neva Masquerade or a Ragdoll. The Neva is more rounded and powerful, with a thicker coat and a rounder head. A Birman always has four white gloves.
